Klitmøller Collective

Who are Klitmøller Collective:

The Danish label Klimtøller Collective stands for puristic and long-lasting fashion in Scandinavian style for men and women. Inspired by the immediate proximity to the coastal town of the same name, a surfing mecca in Northern Europe, they rely on sustainable materials and offer a clear program from high-quality knitwear to clean shirts made of organic cotton. Meetings, traveling and the coming together of generations, connected by the sea in and around Klitmøller, shape the lifestyle of Klitmøller Collective. Their goal is to design and produce clothing that is made of high-quality materials and has a sustainable approach to production, colors, materials and appearance. Their aim is to constantly improve and inspire other brands to choose a more environmentally friendly path that leaves less of a mark on our environment.

Klitmøller’s commitment to sustainable, weatherproof clothing:

Klitmøller Collective places great emphasis on sustainability through responsible production. The company uses materials such as mulesing-free wool, organic cotton (GOTS certified), linen and lyocell and produces in Portugal in family-run factories. Their goal is to create long-lasting, timeless designs with meaning that conserve resources. In addition to sustainable production, the company is also committed to protecting the oceans and organizes annual beach cleanups under the ReSea project. They continuously strive to minimize environmental impact and inspire other brands and consumers.

In addition, LangerChen develops almost all of its fabrics themselves, with a focus on comfort, functionality and sustainability. They mainly use the certified natural fibers mentioned (organic wool, organic cotton) and recycled materials, often combined with polyurethane membranes, to produce waterproof and windproof fabrics. The fabrics are breathable, elastic and partly treated with PFC-free technology. They also offer vegan wax coatings and innovative techniques such as welded down chambers for additional protection.
