A quick look at the spring collection of the Madrid based lifestyle brand
The first wave of the Spring Summer 2025 collection from Madrid-based brand Edmmond Studios has reached us.
Even if the temperatures outside don't really make you want to wear sandals and open summer shirts, it's worth taking a look at what Edmmond Studios has put together for the upcoming spring season.
True to the brand's ethos, this season's lineup includes well-constructed, classically cut basics with a fun twist. There are also some lovely, bright pastel colors, especially in accessories like socks and caps. The classic Edmond Studios duck logo is a must, of course, and is being used again this spring, albeit subtly. The materials are summer-appropriate and inspired by classics for warmer climates: lightweight cotton, linen, and seersucker have long been the fabrics used to make many Mediterranean garments, and for good reason. They're easy to handle, durable, and won't overheat you on hot days. Plus, everyone looks cool and casual in a half-unbuttoned striped seersucker shirt...never change a winning formula.
There are also a few beautiful all-rounders, such as linen shirts or short-sleeved shirts with camp collars, which very appropriately capture the summer vibe of the Spanish heritage. The colors are all very fresh and cheerful, ranging from steel blue to washed-out, nostalgic red. Against the Edmmond backbone of warm, rich earth tones, these pieces create that recognizable vintage flair that defines Edmmond Studios clothing…like an old shirt from your favorite grandpa, worn for bocce every summer for several years and surviving a few stains of Tinto de Verano, worn in and "lived in." The more loosely cut silhouettes and cuts also perfectly capture the laid-back feeling of quiet summer evenings. But since it sometimes gets chilly even in Madrid, classic sweatshirts are a must. These, however, are appropriate for the season and are thin and flowing.
